Personally identifiable information refers to information that specifically identifies who you are. FBDplc.com does not collect personally identifiable information, but using this website implies that you consent to other parties possibly tracking your shopping behaviour, on my behalf, in relation to the Retail Merchants you may visit after clicking my banners and links.

The FBDplc.com is dedicated to establishing trusting relationships with its users, based on respect for personal information, by promoting the use of fair information practices. This privacy policy covers all Web properties owned and maintained by Brian Marshall, including this one. This privacy policy (the "Policy") is designed to inform you about the types of information that I might in future gather about you, how I might use that information, whether I disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding my use of that information. Most of the banner ads, and some links, appearing on my Websites are delivered to users through various third party Affiliate Networks, acting on behalf of Retail Merchants, from whom I may then receive commissions. These Affiliate Networks use 'Cookies' to track your shopping behaviour after you leave my websites, to determine if I am owed any commission or advertising revenue. This is standard practice, and every website with Google Ads, or Affiliate links, will do the same.

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (as amended) it is my duty to tell you how my websites use Cookies.

I place 'Cookies' from Affiliate Networks on my websites. These Cookies are little bits of information in the Banner and Link codes which allows Affiliate Networks, track your shopping behaviour in relation to the Retail Merchant's website you visit, via the Affiliate Network, after leaving my Websites. Although you may not be aware of this visit to the Affiliate Network, because it will be so quick, you will go to the Retail Merchant's website via the Affiliate Network website after leaving mine. Cookies will also be used to track how many visitors the site has, and their behaviour on the site.

By clicking on a Merchant Banner or Text Link, you will be directed to the Merchant's website via the Affiliate Network that has given me the Merchant's Banner. These Affiliate Networks use Cookies to track information about users' visits to my Websites, such as number of times you have viewed an ad, or the number of items you bought and amount spent. Affiliate Network Cookies identify and track your computer or mobile device, but do not collect user names, addresses, or other personal information, and are only used to track users delivered to third party websites by my Websites to determine commissions due to me , if any. Affiliate Network Cookies stop tracking after a set time, usually determined by the Retail Merchant. The Retail Merchant will often be given your tracking information from the Affiliate Network, so that they don't pay 'double commission' to me .

Affiliate Networks will never contact you, but if you choose to give further information to the Retail Merchants you visit, you may receive emails or offers if you choose to register with them. Their privacy policies may differ from my Policy.
My Websites may also contain non-advertising links to other sites. Please be aware that I am not responsible for the privacy practices or cookie policy of such other sites. Please be aware that when you leave my sites, you need to read the privacy statements and cookie policy of each and every website you then go to that collects personally identifiable information.

POSSIBLE FUTURE USE

In future I might request personally identifiable information if you register with me or correspond with me , but as yet this is not my policy. This information might include your name, mailing address, telephone number or e-mail address.

Third party advertising partners will not have access to any personally identifiable information you might choose to give to me . If you choose to give me personally identifiable information, we will not share it with third parties. If you choose to give me personally identifiable information, you may occasionally receive emails containing information about me , or information about third party services or affiliate programs that are likely to be of interest to my users. You will be able to opt-out of receiving such emails from me .

In future I may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide personally identifiable information to appropriate governmental authorities. I will disclose personally identifiable information upon receipt of a court order or subpoena or in order to assist a law enforcement investigation. I fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use my Websites' services for illegal activities.

In the event that my Website(s) go through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, any users' personally identifiable information that I have will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.
